Travel to Pisa

By plane - Pisa has an international airport, named Galileo Galilei with both intern and international routes. Pisa is also close to the big cities of Italy, such as Florence (Firenze) and Lucca.

From the Pisa airport you can take a train or a bus.

The bus get you directly to Piazza dei Milacoli (The Square of Miracles) where the tower of Pisa is located. It runs four times an hour, and a tiket costs 0,95 €

The train runs twice an hour, and a ticket costs 1,10 €

You also can take a cab, for around 6 and 8 €.

During the winter holiday, 25^th December to 1st January it is open between 09,00 - 18,00

In March the Tower of Pisa has the following timetable:    

During1^st and 3^rd of March it is open between 09,00 -18, 00

During 3^rd and 20^th     of March it is open between 09,00-19,00.

After the 21^st  of March it is open between 08:30-20:30

April to September 

Between 1^st of April to 17^th of June and between 5^th and 30^th  September, the  Tower of Pisa  is open during the 08,30 – 23,00.

From 17^th Jun to 5^th    of September it is open between 08,30 – 23,00

In October the Tower of Pisa is open between 09,00 – 19,00
